... a remnant of a 5000+ years old Civilization that dwelt in the Indus Valley...
I was born on January 20th, 1940, in NAWABSHAH, SINDH.
My father made me memorise my 7 generations... alas, as I grew I neglected and totally forgot their names...

After their marriage, they stayed in NAWABSHAH, where I was born.
One of my earliest memory is the death of my sister (she was born after me, I am the first child...). One morning when I awoke, I saw her body covered with a white sheet... thereafter there are so many memories of Sindh, later of India where we moved just before the PARTITION...
For the last 7 generations, there has always been ONLY ONE SON in the family - my father was the only son, I am the only son, and I have ONLY ONE SON!
Is that a record? a phenomena? or a curse?
Of the 14 children my mother gave birth to, my sister (3rd child) and I are the only survivors; the others never lived long enough... the last two were twins!
My sister has 2 sons (and two daughters).
My eldest daughter, Dolly (she passed away in Nov 2003) had 3 sons, Kunaal, Ashish & Ram (my only grandsons) now living with us...
